Dangerdog Music Reviews has released an excellent review of Diamond Lullabies, putting emphasis on Michelle’s incredible vocal technique.
Huerd has a voice for anything from rock to pop to something possibly even more sultry. She could be a modern torch singer (and you might get that from Untitled Lullaby). What she doesn’t do is reach the current modern extremes, high-pitched operatic sirens or growling death vocals. Good for her.
He also gives high regards to the musicianship on the album.
What I hear is simply profound and entertaining melodic hard rock from some very talented players. Not the least of which is guitarist Scott Uhl and keyboardist David Newell, especially when he trades his synth for piano.
Glass Delirium has been honored by Prog Rock Music Talk, who has given Diamond Lullabies a 5/5 star review. James Hinton writes:
“Diamond Lullabies is a great album. Glass Delirium have somehow managed to combine all of their different influences together to create a sound that they call their own. It’s clear from this record that everyone in Glass Delirium is extremely good at what they do…”
Denver Westword has included Diamond Lullabies in their list of “Best Local Albums of 2012″. We are very proud to receive this accolade, and to be listed amongst such amazing musicians. Tom Murphy writes:
“Glass Delirium’s Diamond Lullabies is the kind of album that takes a genre of music and pushes it far beyond its usual boundaries. Crisp yet expansive melodies and tastefully creative guitar work help elevate this sonically rich, imaginative metal record.”
Free and all ages admitted, Stadium Bar and Grill will be hosting a very special Glass Delirium event. The first hour will be an intimate Glass Delirium acoustic set. The second hour will be a classic Glass Delirium theatrical rock experience.
